Updates to RefinedWiki’s Privacy Policy

On the 25th of May a new data protection law known as General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will take effect in the European Union.

We understand the importance of incorporating GDPR standards into our data practices and making sure our customers feel secure when using our apps. We’ve been working hard since last year to prepare for GDPR. After a thorough review of our approach to storing, collecting and processing data, we’ve updated our Privacy Policy and made it easier for customers of our apps to have greater understanding of their options for controlling personal data.

Summary of RefinedWiki’s Changes:

  • Thorough review: We have carefully reviewed the way we store, collect and process data so that it complies with GDPR.
  • Improved Transparency. We have updated the Privacy Policy to include clear information on what we do with our customers data and for what purpose.
  • More control over your information : We have made it easier for you to control the information you provide to us. Our policy explains how you can make choices about your information, and the measures we have put in place to protect your information.
  • Data Processing Agreement (DPA) : This is available on request for our Cloud customers to comply with GDPR.
  • Internal Education: We have educated the RefinedWiki team on changes related to GDPR and other data handling practices so that the whole team are fully aware of how sensitive data should be handled. Further, we have ensured that customer data is only available to employees who need the data.
We look forward to continuing to build on our commitment to data security and privacy. If you have any further questions about GDPR you’re welcome to contact us at [email protected].
